What Is My IP Address

See your public IP address plus connection details, local network info, and browser data — all read in your browser.

This tool shows your public IP address the moment the page loads, along with everything your browser is willing to reveal about the connection: the Network Information API's effective type and speed estimates on supported browsers, any local addresses exposed through WebRTC, and your browser and operating system. ISP and approximate location are shown when a GeoIP database is configured on the server. It's the same picture a website sees of your connection — handy for privacy checks, VPN verification, and troubleshooting.

  • Your public IPv4 / IPv6 address, with one-click copy
  • ISP, ASN, and approximate location when a GeoIP database is available
  • Network Information API details (effective type, downlink, RTT) on supported browsers
  • Local/LAN addresses exposed via WebRTC
  • Browser and operating-system read from the user agent
  • No logging, no tracking — nothing is stored
  • Confirming a VPN or proxy is working — Check that your public IP and location reflect the VPN exit rather than your real connection.
  • Sharing your IP for whitelisting — Grab your public IP quickly when someone needs to add it to an allowlist or firewall rule.
  • Checking for WebRTC IP leaks — See whether your browser exposes local network addresses that could de-anonymize you behind a VPN.

How It Works

1

Open the page

Your public IP is reflected back by our server and everything else is read directly from your browser — no button to press.

2

Review the details

See your connection type, any local addresses WebRTC reveals, and your browser and OS. Copy your IP with one click.

3

Understand what's exposed

This is the same information a website can see about your connection — useful for privacy checks and troubleshooting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my location wrong or missing?

Location and ISP come from a GeoIP database keyed to your IP address. If none is configured on the server, only your IP is shown. Even when present, IP geolocation is approximate — it usually reflects your ISP's regional hub, not your exact address.

What are the local IP addresses?

Browsers can expose your device's addresses on your local network via WebRTC. Modern browsers often mask these behind a random .local name for privacy, so the list may be empty.

Is my IP address logged?

No. Your IP is reflected back to your own browser to display it; there's no tracking, no account, and nothing is stored.
