Image Resizer
View and export images in various formats with custom dimensions and quality settings.
Overview
Image Resizer lets you resize, crop, and export images entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly-powered ImageMagick — no file is ever sent to a server. Set exact pixel dimensions or use shorthand presets like @2x, 1000w, or 500h, then export to PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, TIFF, PSD, XCF, and dozens of other formats in one click. The interactive crop tool gives you precise control with resizable handles, grid overlays, and aspect-ratio lock, while multi-export lets you queue several format-and-size combinations and download them all at once. Because everything runs locally, it works just as well offline and is safe for sensitive or confidential images.
Common Use Cases
- Social Media Resizing — Quickly resize a single photo to multiple platform-specific dimensions — e.g. 1080w for Instagram and 1200w for Twitter — using the multi-export panel in one session.
- Web Performance Optimization — Crop and export images as WebP or JPEG at a controlled quality level to reduce page weight without leaving your design workflow.
- PSD and TIFF Preview — Open Photoshop PSD or high-resolution TIFF files directly in the browser to preview and crop them without needing Photoshop installed.
- Retina Asset Export — Use the @2x preset to produce high-DPI exports for Retina displays alongside standard-resolution versions, all from a single source image.
- Confidential Image Editing — Resize or crop sensitive documents, medical images (DICOM), or HR photos knowing the files never leave the device.
