Frequently asked

Will Outlook open the file?

The file follows Outlook's own format (MS-OXMSG) and opens as a received message. The body is stored as HTML and plain text; Outlook builds its Rich Text version from the HTML when it needs one.

What changes in the conversion?

An Outlook file has one HTML and one plain-text body, so a message with other alternatives (a calendar, an AMP version) keeps them as attachments. Every header is kept as text, as Outlook does for mail it receives. Converting back gives an equivalent message, not the identical file.

Is it private?

Yes. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
