Split PDF

Split one PDF into several — by page ranges, every N pages, or one file per page. Download a ZIP, 100% in your browser.

Split PDF divides a single document into several PDFs, entirely in your browser. Preview every page as a thumbnail, then choose how to split: enter custom page ranges where each group becomes its own file, split into equal chunks of N pages, or burst the document into one PDF per page. A single result downloads directly; multiple parts come bundled in a ZIP. The split is lossless and fully private — pages are copied exactly with pdf-lib and your file never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I split into custom sections?

Choose ‘By ranges’ and enter groups separated by commas — for example ‘1-3, 4-6, 7-10’ creates three PDFs containing those page ranges. Each comma-separated group becomes one output file.

Can I split every few pages automatically?

Yes. Choose ‘Every N pages’ and set the number — the PDF is divided into consecutive chunks of that size, with the last file holding whatever remains.

How are the results delivered?

If the split produces one file you get a single PDF. When it produces several, they're bundled into a ZIP so you download them all at once.

Is splitting lossless?

Yes. Pages are copied exactly into the new PDFs, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your document never leaves your device.
